It's Always a Bit New, Being New

We know visiting a church can bring on anxiety, especially if you are a new Christian or interested in learning more about the Christian faith. Below is some information about Three Taverns that we hope helps. We can’t wait to meet you.

Three Taverns is located in the Acworth Retail District just off Cobb Parkway on Acworth Due West Road. Our address is 3575 Acworth Due West Road. For those of you who love landmarks, our property abuts NCG Cinemas.

There’s plenty of parking but the spots in parking Lot B are closet. Just follow the signs and then take the white sidewalk up to the front doors.

We meet every Sunday at eleven o’clock for an hour or so. You might consider  hanging out on the Playground or in the Living Room after service. One of the coolest things about Three Taverns is the community.

The worship music is as eclectic as the community members that lead the worship time. Overall, it is contemporary but the styles range from rock to indie pop. You will probably hear a hymn thrown in as well. The music is followed by teaching that is straightforward, immediately useful, and encouraging.

We are committed to providing a safe and fun atmosphere for children. On Sundays, the kids meet for worship in the Children’s worship room and then break into age graded groups for creative learning. Our goal is for each child to learn one truth, one Bible verse, and complete a related activity to take home each Sunday.

Kid’s checkin begins at 10:40 each Sunday morning. The checkin area is right off the foyer and folks will be there to help with anything you need. Children’s learning and nursery are also available for Wednesday meetings.

We understand that part of being comfortable often involves knowing what others might be wearing. Most of our attendees wear casual clothing, like jeans and a shirt. You’ll often see a few dresses and collared shirts, too. We rarely see formal attire, though we welcome them all the same.

Feel free to come as you are. We would rather you spend more time preparing your hearts for worship than preparing your attire.

We gather as a community each Wednesday night to learn, worship, and hang out. If you arrive early, you’ll find folks sharing coffee in the Living Room and teens playing pool, video games and doing what not in the Youth Room. During the warmer months, families hang out while their kids play on the playground. Wednesday talks and Kids begin at 7pm. Of course, a nursery is provided for the little little ones.
